Payment & Refund Terms

How payments facilitated through Available Now work.

Who you are buying from

For a business listing, service or product, the named business is normally the seller and your contract for the underlying purchase is with that business. Available Now provides marketplace and payment technology.

Prices and VAT

The checkout should show the amount payable and any VAT information supplied by the seller. Businesses are responsible for their VAT status and tax treatment. Available Now charges its own fees where displayed.

Payment processing

Card and supported wallet payments may be processed by Stripe. We do not require businesses or customers to send card details to each other.

Cancellation and refunds

The seller must state relevant cancellation/refund information and comply with statutory rights. Nothing displayed by a seller can remove rights that the law gives a consumer. Where a refund is due for an underlying purchase, the seller is responsible for authorising it through the available process unless the law or payment-provider rules require otherwise.

Platform fees

Any Available Now platform fee is shown or calculated under the applicable commercial terms. A refund of the underlying purchase does not automatically mean every separately supplied platform or promotional service is refundable, except where required by law.

Disputes

Customers should first raise service or fulfilment issues with the seller. You can also report payment or platform problems to Available Now. Payment-provider dispute and chargeback processes may apply independently.
